    The experience was quite nice, especially with the private outdoor onsen that offered stunning views. I was there to unwind and explore the nearby Beppu Rakutenchi, which was just a short walk away.     We waited over half an hour to start dinner, and the tiny portions were laughable, especially for a 'kaiseki' meal. Absolutely no upgrade for my 'special' occasion. I was clearly not their top priority. Disappointed doesn't even begin to cover it.

    Private outdoor onsen surrounded by lovely nature.

    I was disappointed that the hotel did not pick us up as promised from the station, forcing us to take a taxi. The in-room dining service we looked forward to was unavailable because they altered their meal plan last minute. Lastly, although the staff were eager to assist, their limited English made communication somewhat challenging.

    Nestled in a serene forest, the perfect getaway awaits. Waking up to the songs of birds while enjoying an elegant breakfast was a highlight. The on-site couple onsen provided absolute relaxation after a day of exploring, and the staff were friendly this experience lovely.

    would like to go back here again

    The premium Japanese-style house was a dream! Super spacious with air conditioning, free toiletries, a private bathroom. A hot tub and open-air bath. The beds were comfy with yukata and non-feather pillows. We enjoyed the massage at the spa and the public bath was great too. The food was delicious, showcasing local flavors!

    The surrounding gardens and koi pond were beautiful. I loved the private family onsen that allowed us to unwind in peace. The staff were accommodating.

    The food was delicious and extravagant, truly fit for a special occasion like Christmas. The surrounding area was picturesque and peaceful, perfect for a holiday getaway. The room was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed.
